It’s always good to back the underdog!

This week my challenge has taken me to Italy & the 8th story in the sports pages – a story about the Italian Open (golf).  I have played golf and own a set of clubs, but they are very dusty!  I read the story twice & there was one line that stood out “less famous sibling”.  It got me thinking about how it’s the quiet ones that you’ve got to be on alert for!

The quiet ones are usually the ones working hardest behind the scenes; perfecting their skills with little or no fuss but pulling a performance from seemingly nowhere and reminding us all that they are not to be dismissed.

This happens in all walks of life, not just sport.  But, unless you’re a big tennis fan, who knew of Emma Radacanu until last week,   but she’s a prime example of keeping your head down, stay focussed on the goal so that you can smash it when the right time comes.
